Description
The MediaMatrix® nWall™ 1.1 is a 2-gang NEMA mount CobraNet® interface panel with one female XLR and one mini-jack input, It also has one male XLR and one mini-jack output. For the inputs, the stereo mini-jack has the left and right channels summed together and placed on the first CobraNet subchannel while the XLR is placed on the second CobraNet subchannel of the transmitting bundle. On the output side, the stereo mini-jack provides audio from the first CobraNet subchannel and the XLR provides audio from the second CobraNet subchannel of the received bundle. The CobraNet audio is transmitted across the local area switched network using standard Ethernet cable.
The input side of the front panel features an XLR connector with 12V phantom power, thus accommodating both dynamic and condenser microphones. The input sensitivity can be selected by using the rotary switch to provide the requisite gain for low output microphones, high output microphones, or line level devices. There is also a 1/8″ (3.5 mm) TRS mini-jack which accepts a nominal -8 dBu signal. The output side of the front panel features an XLR connector for balanced output. The output level can be adjusted using the rotary switch. There is also a 1/8″ (3.5 mm) TRS mini-jack.
