Following considered reflection and review, Peavey Commercial Audio has withdrawn from exhibiting at InfoComm 2026 in Las Vegas this June. The decision follows lengthy analysis of both the current economic and geo-political situation. The company will be returning to future InfoComm events.
Peavey has been a fixture of the InfoComm show floor for decades. MediaMatrix® and Crest Audio® brands have utilized the show as a platform to introduce generations of products to our reps, customers and integration partners around the world. The company wish to make it clear that they have the greatest of respect for AVIXA and the role InfoComm plays in the pro AV industry, and this decision is in no way a reflection on either.
The current state of international and domestic affairs is well understood across our industry, and it has informed our judgement for 2026. Rather than going through the motions and logistics of a Las Vegas show floor, we have chosen to redirect that energy into where it will deliver measurably more value to our customers and channel partners — in the field, in our demo centres, and in the hands of our reps.
Specifically, we are using 2026 to invest directly in our channel through a global product knowledge and software training programme for MediaMatrix and Crest Audio. We are planning a series of regional seminars targeting Asia Pacific, the Americas, and Europe. Full details — including dates, locations, format and registration — will be advised shortly. Our intention is for attendees to leave those sessions with a depth of product and software knowledge that no three days on a Las Vegas show floor could have delivered.
This year’s InfoComm absence is temporary, as made clear by General Manager Shayne Thomas: “I want to be absolutely clear about one thing: this is a pause, not a retreat. Peavey Commercial Audio will return to InfoComm — and we intend to return bigger. We will return with additional field validation behind our platforms, and with the benefit of deeper, more direct relationships.”
Peavey is in a strong position to do exactly that. Hartley Peavey founded the company in Meridian, Mississippi in 1965, and sixty years later, Peavey is still engineering, building and shipping from Meridian HQ and regional offices around the world. MediaMatrix continues to set the benchmark for mission-critical distributed audio across transportation, government and large-venue applications around the world. Crest Audio continues to earn its place in live sound and commercial installation.
Thomas concludes: “On behalf of everyone at Peavey Commercial Audio, I would like to thank our reps, customers, integration partners and the wider AVIXA community for their continued support. We look forward to seeing you in your region through 2026 -2027.”
