Architect's & Engineer's Specifications The unit shall be a compact mixer with twelve (12) mono, two (2) stereo line, and two (2) digital stereo input channels mixing to twelve (12) mix outputs. The surface shall include nine (9) moving faders with four (4) layers, each layer having dedicated keys and indicators, giving access to input channels, output channel busses, and to DCA masters. All processing, routing and assignments of signals shall be accessed and adjusted via a eight (8) inch colour touchscreen provided on the mixing surface. Four (4)soft key shall be provided for quick access to the Mute Groups, and Mute function. There shall be four (4)dedicated keys to change between Layer 1-8, 9-20, DCAs, and Busses. Each channel shall provide dedicated soft keys for Solo, and Mute. All input mix channels shall contain the following processing: 4-band PEQ, Low Cut, Gate, Compressor, and Phase. All output mix channels shall contain the following processing: 4-Band PEQ, High & Low Cut, Compressor, Delay, and 31-Band GEQ. There shall be two (2) EFX engines, eight (8) DCA groups and three (3)Mute groups. Two (2)independent effect engines shall be provided with a library of factory preset FX emulations. 12-LED bar meters on the surface shall indicate the two (2) Main mix buss levels, the Solo signal shall override the LR meters accompanied by a Solo active indicator. A quarter-inch jack socket for Solo headphones output shall be provided, with an analogue output level control. The mixer shall include stereo recording/playback to optional USB hard drives. The format shall be 48 kHz/ 16 bit WAV. The mixer shall play back stereo WAV files at 44.1 or 48 kHz and shall have a USB Type-A connector on the surface for recording, playback, data-transfer, archiving, and firmware updates to USB drive. On the rear panel there shall be a Type-B USB connection following the high-speed USB 2.0 standard for multi-channel, bi-directional audio streaming of 2 out / 2 in between the mixer and a computer. The mixer shall provide a wireless router (access point) for live mixing control. The mixing system shall include control via any HTML5 enabled wireless touchscreen device connected via the internal wireless network router, and allow control of all functions including the preamp gain, polarity, and phantom power. Input and output channel processing and parameters in the mixer shall be saved on demand as a user library item for recall in other channels. Individual processing sections shall be save-able on demand as user library items for that type. All library items shall be stored on board and archived with the show-file. Library items shall be transferrable to USB drive as portable data to be used in other systems. An option shall be provided for password protection for log-in of several users with different levels of system access and permissions. The mixing control surface shall have an external power supply accepting AC mains voltages of 100~240 VAC, 50/60 Hz, 72W max via an earthed 3-pin IEC male connector. The external power supply shall be connected to a lockable 3-pin connector mounted on the rear chassis. Recommended operating temperature for the mixer shall be -20 to 55 degrees Celsius. The compact mixer shall be the Peavey AUREUS Mini Digital Mixer.
