Architect's & Engineer's Specifications The power amplifier shall be a 2RU device offering class AB topology. It shall provide at least two (2) input channels via combi XLR 1/4" jacks with additional barrier strip inputs plus output power being delivered via 4-pin twist-lock sockets for each channel with additional supporting binding post connectivity. A minimum 290 watts @ 8 ohms shall be available from each channel. The power amplifier shall be capable of either stereo or bridged mono configuration from a mode selector switch delivering up to 960 watts in bridge mono mode @ 8 ohms. Link Outs - Balanced line, High and Low Outs via 1/4" TRS jacks plus 40Hz Low Cut and 150Hz X-Over switches are supplied for each channel. Frequency response shall be greater than 12 Hz thru 35 kHz +0, -2 dB. The amplifiers shall incorporate protection circuitry against open and short circuits, DC voltage on outputs, thermal overload and RF load protection with front panel LED indicators to display Gain Comparator Limiting/Clipping - red, signal - yellow, thermal protect - red and power - green. Cooling of the amplifier shall be from one built-in two (2) speed DC thermo fan. The amplifiers shall support selectable 115V or 220-240V AC operation from a line voltage selector switch. The dimensions (HxWxD) shall not exceed 3.5" x 19" x 15.5" (89 x 483 x 380 mm) and shall weigh no more than 40 lbs (18.2 kg). The professional dual channel power amplifier shall be the Crest Audio CPX 1 or approved equivalent.
