Architect's & Engineer's Specifications

The module shall be compatible with the accessory bay of the Crest Audio CKd series of power amplifiers. The module shall provide two (2) RJ-45 connectors to allow attachment to a network. The module shall provide advanced audio control and routing, supporting all NexSys functions, DSP functions, and Dante digital audio I/O via 1 Gb Ethernet connection. Primary and secondary 1 Gb ports shall provide system redundancy for demanding applications, with eight (8) Dante audio inputs and eight (8) Dante audio outputs enable audio routing capabilities. A suite of DSP options shall be provided, including delay, PEQ, compression/limiting, crossover and mixing. The module shall provide amplifier control and monitoring options, including Real Time Load Monitoring, Automatic Clip Limiting (ACL), Instantaneous Gain Modulation (IGM), input/output VU, Gain, Mute, Solo, DC, thermal protection, AC/DC monitoring, and Sequential Turn On/Off (remote power). Providing the use of the NexSys 5 protocol, devices can be controlled and monitored from multiple application instances. The module shall be the Crest Audio Nx Dante 8 or approved equivalent.
